Calibration Technician Needed

Seeking a full time, experienced calibration technician who desires a permanent career. Responsible for insuring measurement accuracy, testing, repairing, calibrating, and maintenance of test equipment.

General Duties:

  • Provide excellent professional customer service
  • Communicate with customers, office staff, and other technicians
  • Calibration and repair of analog and digital test instruments
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble test equipment, using precision measurement tools
  • Prepare calibration reports, certificates, and service orders
  • Ensure all calibration standards are maintained and serviced
  • Ensure all work performed meets quality protocols and standards
  • Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years hands on experience in the Calibration/Metrology field
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and implement remedies
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics
  • Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 Standards
  • Ability to lift and carry 40lbs
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
